Wildlife & Beach Stay – Sri Lanka

Starting the tour in vibrant Colombo, we’ll be then traveling to the south, via the old Dutch Fort town of Galle – now a UNESCO Heritage Site, and onwards towards the picturesque bay of Mirissa staying at the beautiful laid back Paradise Beach Club Hotel.

The following day will be the big day for the Whale Watching! A thrilling and emotive experience! A specially adapted boat with experienced staff will take good care of you – trips start at 6am and last about 4 hours.
The encounter with wildlife continues with a visit to the spectacular Yala National park. Best known for its variety of bird life, and one of highest leopard population densities in the world – a thrill jeep safari is included.
Upwards into the cooler hill region towards the ‘Little England’ town of Nuwara Eliya with its beautiful landscaped gardens and colonial buildings, staying in the ‘old grandeur’ hotel of St Andrews.

A day of picturesque landscapes awaits on the trip to Kandy, taking in waterfalls, tea plantations and botanical gardens. The evening presents Kandyan Cultural shows and Sri Lankan hospitality!

The tour finishes in Negombo – a lovely beach resort only 20 minutes or so from the international airport where you can wind down in luxury in the beautiful and tranquil Jetwing Beach Hotel.!

Biyadhoo Island Resort – South Male’ Atoll

Island is a natural haven with lots of leafy vegetation, fruit trees and palm trees, surrounded by lovely soft beach and one of the best house reefs in the Maldives. The island attracts many water lovers who spend their days with snorkel and mask marveling at the very well preserved reef, and the location of the island is such that there is easy access to many well-known and popular dive sites in the area.

Dining on Biyadhoo is a wonderful experience, with many local dishes to sample, plus special weekly barbecues, seafood evenings and theme nights. Visitors can book on Breakfast only, or can upgrade to an All Inclusive package offering excellent value for money.

With only 96 rooms spread over an area of 25 acres of the island, it feels spacious and relaxed, but has all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. The accommodation is in two-storey buildings – 6 blocks, each with 16 rooms. The Ground floor rooms have a patio leading to the beach, first floor rooms have balconies.
